Are you sure that you are using the latest tellurium jar?

If you look at the check method in the DslContext,

    def check(String uid){
        WorkflowContext context = WorkflowContext.getDefaultContext()
        ui.walkTo(context, uid)?.check(){ loc, String[] events ->
            String locator = locatorMapping(context, loc)
            eventHandler.check(locator, events)
        }
    }

The closure c
{ loc, String[] events ->
            String locator = locatorMapping(context, loc)
            eventHandler.check(locator, events)
}

does accept two input parameters, that is to say,

    def check(Closure c){

        c(locator, respondToEvents)
    }

should work fine.
