Another thought might be to design an algorithm to select the appropriate attributes rather than just use the white list attributes.
For the dialog/popup, we can just use a menu item to select which window you want to record, similar to the Dom Inspector plugin. Definitely, we will add the support of Frames/IFrames. For the UI templates, we will only add it if we have time to work on that.
