You could try another thing. Check your maven repository to see if you have
the selenium-java-client-driver.jar ver 1.0-beta-2. Not having this jar file
could cause some problems. If you dont you can copy it from here
selenium-java-client-driver-1.0-beta-2.jar<http://nexus.openqa.org/content/repositories/releases/org/seleniumhq/selenium/client-drivers/selenium-java-client-driver/1.0-beta-2/selenium-java-client-driver-1.0-beta-2.jar>

<http://nexus.openqa.org/content/repositories/releases/org/seleniumhq/selenium/client-drivers/selenium-java-client-driver/1.0-beta-2/selenium-java-client-driver-1.0-beta-2.jar>Create
the 1.0-beta-2 folder and copy this jar into this. It looks like the
seleniumhq repository has not been updated with this jar
