In Tellurium, to choose jQuery selector rather than xpath is just
one command

useJQuerySelector()

and the remaining code are the same.

You can try to run some Tellurium reference project
samples and watch the console output for the actually generated
runtime jQuery selectors. You won't find any direct sample test code
related to jQuery selectors because everything is handled by Tellurium
framework under the hood. That is to say, in Tellurium, we have

user's UI module

Tellurium automatically generate jQuery selectors and optimize them

   |

custom selenium server with jQuery selector support.

>From user perspective, you only need to deal with UI module and it is
locator agnostic, i.e., the same UI module can be used for both XPath
and jQuery selector. That is to say, we won't need to deal with
anything
about jQuery selector in your UI module.
