Subject: TelluriumConfig.groovy as is did not work for me...
To: [email protected]

Dear all,
        I downloaded the latest sources and got it working - however, it was
not so straight / smooth sailing...
(This is on windows XP...)

After a lot of play I got it working - and got *GoogleSearchTestCase *working
fine - all the tests passed...

However, I needed to change the TelluriumConfig.groovy as below...

        //Browser setting, valid options are
        // browser = "*firefox" // [absolute path]
        browser = "*iexplore" // [absolute path]
        //  *chrome
        // browser = "*iehta"
        // browser = "*chrome"

This works well for me ;-)

For some reason the "*chrome" stuff did not work - I assume this is for the
google chrome browser - even though the entry is "*chrome" it still goes
and tries to fire firefox...
       Now on this box I did not have firefox - so I downloaded it (version
3.6.3 - the latest) and it started complaining about not able to create a
firefox profile
- googling for this took me to the selenium FAQ -

http://selenium-grid.seleniumhq.org/faq.html#when_starting_firefox_i_get_java_javalangruntimeexception_firefox_refused_shutdown_while_preparing_a_profile

I tried to resolve it using the instructions there - (downloaded
systeinternals handle.exe/pskill.exe to find out and kill the
firefox daemons - but did not work - cleaning up temp/rebooting did not
help...

Commenting out "*chrome" I tried out "*iehta" - it gave me some obscure
script error - then I tried "*iexplore" and it works

Hope this helps Tellurium new comers (like me ;-)
