I am not sure how much tellurium is still alive. I have seen little
activity for past year. I think latest release is about one year old. Maybe
main contributor (Jian Fang) has been put on another project ?

Personally I am using selenium again. I did not face so many problems with
object identification (I would say major advantage of tellurium). I am more
facing problems with elements not available yet, not visible yet, being
overlapped by a notification and therefore not clickable. These are normal
selenium problems, that also occur with any other testing framework. Test
automation is a very painful process.

I did made a major improvement in my test script development: instead of
first creating my script and then trying it out, I create my script
interactively and try out piece by piece. I have a groovy console attached
to my JVM running selenium driver, and thus can try out pieces of code, and
rollback my browser if it does not work. This makes fun, and is far less
painful than finding out your failures only when you run your test. You can
read more on my blog:
http://jankesterblog.blogspot.com/2012/03/interactive-selenium-testing.html.
I will also create a video for it.

Regards, Jan.
