I can understand how bearer traffic (and an L3 PDN) can be easily appropriately fragmented by the EPC-facing router with correct VLAN MTUs, and the EPC can function (and does) on a 1496 MTU. For an L2 PDN, though, what is the mechanism for setting/knowing the actual MTU size? In this instance, we would like to be able to pass a full L2 1500 byte packet, if the functionality is there. Not impossible to live without it, but there's an odd lack of documentation on this — the manuals suggest fairly large packet availability, but no instructions. -- Jeremy Austin (907) 895-2311 (907) 803-5422 [email protected] Heritage NetWorks Whitestone Power & Communications Vertical Broadband, LLC Schedule a meeting: http://doodle.com/jermudgeon
