As an aside, Sonar can also do this the other way around (you can
dynamically assign an IP to the SIM using the spoofed IMSI-MAC, and then
Sonar will learn about the assignment from the DHCP server.)

I've set up an L3 PDN using the "DHCP Relay" method of IP
Assignment. On our DHCP server we see requests coming from a
spoofed MAC Address which is based on the IMSI of the SIM card.
Does anyone know if there's a way to configure this so we'll get
the UE MAC address instead?
Also, does Option 82 work for you guys? I have it enabled, but I
don't see any relay agent information being populated.
Thanks,
Adam
Adam, FWIW, authentication by SIM is the LTE standard. We use Sonar to
populate the DHCP static leases with the right MAC address from the
SIM. I tried option 82 briefly, but I don't believe I got it working.
