Subject: [Telrad] wimax questions

Hello -

through an acquisition we've recently inherited several 2.5 wimax base
stations. We are looking at integrating them into our network and have a few
questions.

I know there is an ASN device that aggregates all the traffic. On the current
configuration there are several vlans under the port this is setup on for
various states - nonpayment, unprovisioned, etc - which i believe is tied to
the company's current billing platform - azotel.

We run powercode and are migrating the customers over. I'm looking for some
more information on the asn - mainly - does it have a network ip address I can
login on? I am not seeing any ip addresses assigned to it on the port in the
mikrotik. - is it just a dumb layer 2 device?
Something that just needs to be "plugged in" and left alone?

The staff of the WISP we've just bought says most of this was setup before they
came on board so no one has much knowledge of it.

Thanks in advance.
