Sylvie,

all the engines jsp files are precompiled to avoid the need to compile each engine the first time it is accessed, so the files in /jsp/engines are not used by defaut. If you want to use them you have to comment the mapping to them in the web.xml file located in jahia/WEB-INF. For instance if you want to use the page_field.jsp file that you have modified instead of the precompiled version, you would need to comment these lines like this in the web.xml file :

<!--
        <servlet-mapping>
                <servlet-name>jsp.jahia.engines.shared.page_field_jsp</servlet-name>
                <url-pattern>/jsp/jahia/engines/shared/page_field.jsp</url-pattern>
        </servlet-mapping>
-->

Michel

Hi,

    I'd like to prevent some users from making a link to an existing jahia page or creating a link to an external website for example in a jahia page field. Where can I do this?? Is it in /engines/shared/page_field.jsp? I did some changes in this file but without any success... Even after flushing the jahia cache.
Any help would be great,
Thank you

-Sylvie
