Jahia 4.0.6_01, 4.1.0_01 maintenance releases are now available for download, as well as a Milestone 1 release of Jahia 4.5 !

Jahia 4.0.6_01 and 4.1.0_01 are maintenance releases that fix a few issues discovered after the launch of Jahia 4.0.6 and 4.1.

The complete installation builds as well as the two migration scripts are now available in the Jahia download area ( http://www.jahia.org/download ). The migration scripts are now cumulative, so the patch for Jahia 4.0.6_01 can be applied either to Jahia 4.0.5 or 4.0.6, the currently installed version will automatically be detected and the corresponding patch will be applied. The same goes with the 4.1.0_01 migration patch that can be applied either to Jahia 4.0.6 or 4.1.

As mentionned before, Jahia 4.0.6_01 is free of charge for all Jahia 4.0 users. No upgrade contract required. Jahia 4.1/4.1.0_01 is only available for new customers and for existing customers with a valid upgrade contract. If you need a new license key in order to upgrade to Jahia 4.1/4.1.0_01 (a new default unlimited 60 days trial key is provided with the upgrade script so that you can continue to perform tests or to use the system after the upgrade), please send an email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a copy of your previous Jahia 4.0 key. Please note that Jahia 4.1.0_01 is currently considered as the latest stable edition of the program. You can find more details on Jahia 4.0.6_01 and 4.1.0_01 in the corresponding README file, and you can check all changes and fixes in the changelog.

We are also very happy to announce that Jahia 4.5M1 has also been released.
This version is not final and thus is not recommended for production use. However this milestone release can be used for test and development purposes. This should also provide you with an insight of what we are currently working on for the final Jahia 4.5 release.
Currently the following features are implemented in this M1 release :

- Workflow Refactoring: Jahia now supports a "N-Step Workflow" mode (which replace the previous 2 steps workflow mode). - JSR 168 Support: The portal layer was refactored in order to support JSR168 compliant portlets. - Dublin Core MetaData: This M1 introduces advanced MetaData support compliant with the Dublin Core MetaData standard. - Advanced Search : search in multiple virtual sites allowed as well as indexation of Office files properties - Partial WebDAV-Jahia mapping: Files uploaded through WebDAV automatically create a container and new directories automatically create a new pages. - XML Import/Export feature : Allows to export content and to import it elsewhere (including on another Jahia server). Currently only a basic layer is functional.

You can find more details on the features present in this 4.5 M1 as well as the features planned for the final release in the README file. Everything is available in the Jahia download area ( http://www.jahia.org/download ).

As always, a big thanks to all people who have contributed to these new releases, as well as to all people who take time to give us some feedback or to report issues.
