Un-publishing a page in only one language ?

Hi

On a multilanguage site (French, English, German), a page in English is 
going to be replaced by a group of pages that will exist only in in 
English, the initial page remaining in French and German.

How is it possible to un-publish the English version without deleting 
the page in the other languages ?
