worflow issue

We have a site with 3 languages but one of them is disabled (EN). We have a page where *sometimes* the workflow does not work after deleting a container unless we temporarily enable the disabled language ("EN"). In short: a very unusual issue, difficult to reproduce. Any input is appreciated. thanks pascal
