we mostly do our tests on linux and windows, but I don't see why it would be different with you environnement. We are using the blog template on the jahia.net website ( http://www.jahia.net/jahia/Jahia/cache/bypass/pid/702?entryId=3050 ) and process time is between 500ms and 1 second.
Could you check when you access the page if the load is on Jahia or on the DB ?
Regarding indexing of the DB, if you have already applied these indexes http://www.jahia.net/jahia/page589.html#6 normally no other indexes should be needed.

I forgot to add that I'm using mysql-standard-5.0.16-solaris10-sparc-64bit on jahia4.1.1
I hope it's not a factor in this case, but you never know..

- But the page using blog.jsp as template (pid 320) can't seem to be below 80000ms ! 200 slower!
- Do someone has a clue or a way to further debug this, because I definitely can't use it that way.
