Hello,

The demo portlets are just some "hello world" like portlets in order to test the JSR168 features. They are not "real" portlets. You can download other portlets on www.jahia.net or try to find on the Internet some other JSR168 compliant portlets. We will work during the next weeks in order to test on jahia the open source or commercial portlets we can find on the Internet and we will list them as soon as successfully tested on Jahia on the Portlet Repository page.

Else, as usual, just download your portlet WAR/EAR file and copy it once locally downloaded in the var/new_webapps directory. It will be automatically hot-deployed by Jahia. By default, in Jahia 5.0, only the root user can add newly deployed portlets. You can add addtiional permissions on the Manage Portlets page in the Admin Center portlet by portlet.

Can someone highlight the purpose of the "Demo" set of portlets included with the base installation? How does one obtain a "non-demo" set (licensing process?)?
