Popup menu position issue

I'm using Jahia5 and have just implemented a CSS oriented template. I'm 
having an issue with the container and container list pop-up menu 
showing up in the correct spot. In one case, it shows up several inches 
to the right and down from where it should be. What can be the source of 
this issue?
