If I have well understood, you have a homepage well created, but no
other content imported.
This can occur if the localAccessUri parameter is not well set in the
jahia.properties file. By default, this parameter is commented, and so
uses its default value (http://localhost:8080)
If you want to use another port, or if localhost is not bind to
127.0.0.1 on your server, you have to uncomment this parameter and
define it accordingly to your configuration.
Otherwise, your homepage is well created, but as its template has
never been processed, none of its definition has ever been loaded, and
so initialized in db. That's why this parameter is required, to
perform a HTTP GET on the page after its creation. You do not have
such problem when you manually create some content, as you need to go
on the page before creating something on it.
