Hi Peter, One possibility is to use an own category field. You can add in your containerdefinition a Field from type Category:
e.g. <content:declareField name="category" title="Category" type="Category" titleKey="simple.cats" bundleKey="jahiatemplates.ResourceBundle" value="testcatkey"/> In the value parameter you can specify the key of the default category. But if you have dynamic default categories you should use regular expressions. (see in Template_Developer_Guide).
