I think I missed the mention in the fast-lurk-skim mode I've been in...
But, yeah, if you remember the persistence attempts I had in Iaido,
that's exactly it. I think I have a slightly better approach now, and
keep thinking about using someone's off-the-shelf/CPAN system, but most
existing approaches don't quite seem to satisfy me.

As for the use of TT for things other than HTML, I'm doing that like
crazy now in my current work project, which literally generates and
deploys web apps from compositions of components and templates selected
from a builder wizard. Unfortunately, this project will probably sink
when I leave here and never see the outside world unless I can work some
magic and liberate it. It's been about a year of work hanging around.

Commercial interest I'm not as worried about, though maybe I should be.
Mostly it's just one of those itches I've been wanting to scratch.
Though, in a previous message, the commercial interest in one way may
include developer availability and acceptance, which is another thing
altogether.

But yeah, things like user-defined objects are hard, especially
on-the-fly like I did in Iaido. That takes some perl magic, or at least
some wonky obscure Java.

I really need to look at OpenInteract again... I remember there were
some structural things that didn't satisfy me about the system (at least
enough to abandon my own), but I remember it was doing good things.
