One of the things that we have setup is an automated install system for 
our servers.  The Perl Modules that we use are automatically downloaded 
from our CPAN mirror (with CPAN.pm, this system is pre cpanplus) and 
installed.

This system starts to fall down if modules can't be trusted to test 
themselves.  Some of the XML modules fit into this category (they fail 
tests even though they work properly.)  I've had to take special steps to 
make sure these are force installed.

Now, as you know the current Template release fails one of it DBI tests.  
This means that it never gets installed.  Things fall over wonderfully.

Please can we have another release to CPAN where Template passes all of 
it's  tests (like the dbi tests in CVS do) ?  I rather not have to start 
writing special rules for the Template Toolkit as well.  It's not as ropey 
bit of software as the current test suite is libelling it as.
