I found and fixed a subtle bug the other day which may, or may not be
related.

-%]
The first line
In this example, the newline after the comment block wasn't being
chomped, giving you "\nThe first line". The entire directive was
being ignored, as it should, but the chomp option (the trailing '-')
was also being ignored.
It's fixed now in the CVS respository.
