Absolutely. If I could do that, I could convert readily from my old templating system and take advantage of all the efficient caching features of Apache::Template. At the moment I can fake it using a super-ugly kludge by changing TAGS so that the filtered block doesn't get parsed, then evaltt-ing the output code. That works, but leaves something to be desired in terms of aesthetics and efficiency. Thanks for listening :-) Simon McGregor
