James and I are working on OpenFrame at the moment, doing a near-total
rewrite to improve on the overall architecture and in particular, to enhance
the core slot dispatching service. It should make it a lot more powerful
and flexible, integrating some of the better features of Camelot.

We're also moving towards having a main distribution which comprises a
set of half a dozen modules or so which implement the core framework and
have very few external pre-requisites. That means you should be able to
install and use it without having to install the numerous modules it
currently relies on: LWP, XML, SOAP, etc.
