The problem has more to do with searching and manipulating the data structure than creating it. TT's display-oriented language is just not well-suited to this task. In general, I think that if you try to do things like this in a mini-language you are basically justifying the argument of the in-line perl camp: you already know a great powerful programming language (perl), so why try to program your application in an intentionally limited one? - Perrin
