The problem here is that Apache::Template creates a single set of Template objects and holds onto them. In the case of a non-vhost setup, this works very well, and is very efficient. In the case of vhosts, however, the first vhost a child gets creates the objects, which maintain the same INCLUDE_PATH entries, and therefore often look in the "wrong" place for included files.
