A long time ago, I started a branch on lib/Template/Config.pm and
bin/ttree that abstracts out the configuration bits from ttree, so that
they could be reused.  It moved the read_config function from ttree to
Template::Config.  You could expand upon this idea; I didn't get the
chance to.
