Hi list,

I'am a new but very happy user from TT2. It really helps me to keep
the view stuff out of the controller. I'am using TT2 together with
CGI::Builder in a mod-perl enviroment (there is an integration called
CGI::Builder::TT2 for TT) which is something like an extended
CGI::Application.
It works fine so far except that the templates get parsed on the first
requests and not at the server start, which has 2 significant
drawbacks: 1. the first request takes a lot more time and 2. the
template cache doesn't get shared between the Apache childrens.
I believe this may be a very common problem, but I didn't see a
configuration option to change this behaviour and so i'am asking whats
the simplest and most effective way to accomplish my goal? I could
imagine to write my own function to get the load the Templates (maybe
in a begin block?) or to use preparsed Templates, but that would solve
my 2. problem.

Thank you for your Time reading this post and for sharing your
experience with me.

ciao

Philipp
