The real question is *why*?  Why are you relying on client-side as your
storage?

Store the stuff server-side, and merely brand the browser.  The
technology for this has been described in countless magazine articles
and public forums.

STOP USING HIDDEN FIELDS FOR REAL DATA.

The solutions for lightweight server-side storage systems are numerous,
and a lot easier than all that serialization you might need.  Plus,
a LOT more secure.
