Hi All, What's the status of Apache::Template and Apache2/mod_perl2? I found: http://www.modperlcookbook.org/~geoff/modules/experimental/ but I had to make fairly extensive minor changes just to get it to pass its own tests under mod_perl 2.0.0 and libapreq2 2.05-dev. It looks like there were so pretty rash (good?) decisions about backward compatibility made around mod_perl-1.999_22 and libapreq 2.00. I also see there are several of the tests that are marked TODO that fail even after my changes.
I'm starting a new project and I thought Apache::Template would work well for me but I also want to start with Apache2. What is the current thinking on the direction of Apache::Template? I've put a patch to get Apache_Template-2.00_01 to work (mostly) under mod_perl-2.0.0 here: http://galaxy.sybaspace.com/perl/Apache_Template/mod_perl-2.0.0-changes.patch I'm also going to continue on my quest to get _all_ of the included tests to pass. I'm willing to contribute a fair amount of time to getting Apache::Template to play nice with mod_perl2 but I don't want to step on anyones toes or find out that there is a better/preferred approach now. -- Tony Fraser [EMAIL PROTECTED] Sybaspace Internet Solutions System Administrator phone: (250) 246-5368 fax: (250) 246-5398 _______________________________________________ templates mailing list [email protected] http://lists.template-toolkit.org/mailman/listinfo/templates
