I believe this is in the bugs section of the Stash::XS documentation for 2.14:
http://www.template-toolkit.org/docs/plain/Modules/Template/Stash/XS.html

However, it looks like Andy has removed those docs in 2.14a, so maybe it's fixed there?
http://tt2.org/viewcvs/Template2/docsrc/src/Modules/Template/Stash/XS.tt2.diff?r1=1.1&r2=1.2&only_with_tag=HEAD

Hopefully that can point you into some right direction or someone else can help you out here.

I'm having a spot of bother with the installation of Template Toolkit on
Solaris 2.8.

I have done this before in the past, without a problem. It could be that
something is up with my gcc or library paths.

I'm using a $ENV{PERL5LIB} LIB and PREFIX as I don't have root on this system.
The problem seems to be in bootstrapping Stash::XS; everything seems to be the
right version, but it's picking up a stray version 2.08 from somewhere. I am at
the limits of my knowledge for investigating this. Any suggestions or help
would be much appreciated.
