I would expect any TT user concerned about performance to be using
cached templates and the XS stash.

Sounds like it could be great for people who are stuck using CGI.  TT
doesn't perform well without the cache.

That's good.  Some of those (tables, date formatting) are practically
part of the language at this point for me.
