use Template;
use Template::Plugins;
$Template::Plugins::STD_PLUGINS = {};
$Template::Plugins::PLUGIN_BASE = '';
Then just define your plugins via the PLUGINS config option.
my $template_config = {
PLUGINS => {
'math' => 'Template::Plugin::Math',
}
};
my $template = Template->new($template_config);
