Hello,

We recently had some design work done on a tt2 based web app and
got back fresh html that didn't integrate nicely with the structure
of the app, nor did iot cover many of the cases that we'd talked about.
There's bound to be some issues along these lines, but I'd like to
reduce them (and would welcome tips).

I have an idea that I'm considering for next time around and want
to know if it's already been done. I'd like to get the designer
to do the template integration work, and as an aid, it like to
record the various data inputs used to render a template.
This would include the static variables, but also the output
of subroutines and methods called. This could then be replayed
and the html output browsed to see that all the important combinations
and corner cases are covered.

I've not gone beyond idly thinking about the idea, so if there's
show-stopping difficulties anyone else can see, let me know.

Has this been done before? Does it sound easy or difficult?
Is there a better approach to dealing with the underlying
designer-programmer interface issues?

Brad
