Hi list,

I'm very new to TT and I was using HTML::Mason for the past years. I'm
building a web app with Catalyst and I'm currently using Mason. I want to be
able to switch the template engine to TT if needed without changing my
"concept" of how my view works or should work.

Currently I'm setting a template that should be used in the view. This
template is not needed to exist. If it does, the template should be used, and
if it doesn't, a "base template" should be used instead. You can call it a 404
handler for a specific path or a dhandler in Mason speech.

Can I achieve this with standard TT methods? If so, how?

Thanks,
  matt
