Fray Day 7 seeks storytellers, songwriters, and volunteers
Fray Day is an annual celebration of true, personal stories. Every event includes true
stories told live, an open mic where anyone can participate, and live music. The 7th
annual San Francisco Fray Day is coming back to the Victoria Theatre on Saturday,
October 4. We're currently seeking:
Storytellers: People to come tell true stories. Featured Performers get 10 minutes but
must be screened in advance. Open Mic participants can just show up the night of the
event, but only get 5 minutes. Guidelines: http://fray.com/events/guidelines/
Musicians: Singer/songwriter types to come play music. Songs that have a strong story
base are obviously preferred.
Volunteers: Helpers for the night of the event and in advance. Flyers and tickets and
swag, oh my!
PR Peeps: We're especially in need of a PR volunteer to help us get the word of Fray out
to the local media.
