The Marsh call for performers
Performance slots are available for Monday Night Marsh from January through April.
Monday Night Marsh is an ongoing series put on by The Marsh, a breeding ground for new performance. The series is basically intended to help emerging performers develop their work. If you have a piece you'd like to try out, whether it be a solo monologue, a few songs, a dance, a wedding toast, your most tricky contortions, your most startling illusions, or a good, old-fashioned one-act play, Monday Night Marsh is a great way to get your work in front of an audience and get feedback. We do ask that whatever your performance is, it should be off book (no scripts) and that you not use any fire in your performance (sorry).
You perform TWO Monday nights, so that you can try something a little different the second time and compare the results. Shows are at 8 PM. Performers start setting up at 6:30 PM.
To apply for a slot at Monday Night Marsh, please e-mail your name/your gruop's name, the title of your piece, and a short description of what the piece is like/about to [EMAIL PROTECTED]
Here are the dates we have available: January 31; February 7 & 28; March 7, 14 & 21; April 11. PLEASE TELL ME WHICH DATES YOU CANNOT PERFORM. I will book you for two dates that you are available.
