MACAO call for male performers
A forthcoming production is a couple rogues short of a gallery. A male lead and a male supporting actor are needed to round out a fun and diverse cast.
MACAO is a lusty and vivid theatrical reimaginging of the 1952 exotica noir classic directed by Josef von Sternberg and Nicholas Ray. It is the exciting story of an American expatriate seeking love and redemption in an exotic port city where nothing is as it seems.
Auditions to be held on Wednesday, January 5, from 7-9pm at the Dark Room, 2263 Mission Street (between 18th and 19th).
Rehearsal schedule (all at the Dark Room, 7-10pm unless otherwise specified)(no actor will be required for every rehearsal): Tue Jan 11, Thu Jan 13, Tue Jan 18, Thu Jan 20, Sat Jan 22 (1-3pm), Tue Jan 25, Thu Jan 27, Sat Jan 29 (1-3pm), Tue Feb 1, Wed, Feb 2, Sat Feb 5 (1-3pm)
All actors required during tech week second week of February; shows Fri- Sat 8pm, last three weekends in February (Feb 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26)
