A woman's grace is her most primal power on the planet. There is a deep wisdom within women that allows us to nurture, inspire and move mountains. This power is so deep it sometimes goes unnoticed until something triggers its emergence. It is time to unleash the power of women in the most profound and universally understood mediums...art.
Join us for this amazing exhibit of art by women for women and the world.
The Opening The exhibit will become the oasis of the goddess. Grapes, roses, wine and cheese and music to sooth your soul. Come in your most fabulous gowns. Gods and Goddesses are welcome...feel free to bring you little angels with you too...this is a celebration for everyone.
The Artists The show is open to artists and art lovers world wide who would like to create a community of creativity and whimsical exploration.
You have a great opportunity to play and inspire a community through your art, product and/or classes. We are always open to new ideas. Here are some of the ways you can play in this exhibit.
Exhibit Art & Products - Exhibit art in our gallery - Sell art products - Donate art/product for raffle/preview sessions and/or auction
Lead an art project - Create and present a collaborative art project - Design a collaborative activity for the reception - Work with a team of artists to create a collaborative project throughout the exhibit
Teach a playshop - Teach workshops/classes - Host open play hours for self-guided creative time
Perform at the reception - Perform music or create a production for the opening reception
Application Submission Requirements: All work will be juried by the producers of this show for fit with the show theme. To have your art/class proposals considered for our show is $27 for member artists and $36 for non-member artists. Artists and Teachers will be notified on Tuesday, March 15th, 2005 of the decision to show.
Artists and teachers will be given further instructions along with notification on agreements, delivery and pick up dates.
Artists and teachers that are accepted for this show will receive 60% of their class/product revenues and 40% will go back to the project. In addition all artist will be recognized as a participant in show promotions.
