Producer/Art Director with 22 years experience in live production
including cirque, cabaret, corporate video, and concert AU, EUR, SF.
Requesting submissions from non union Cirque, Improve, Street, Dance,
Burlesque, Music, Comedy, Artists, Live and Video Production Crew,
and Visual Artists with large paintings. Ages 21 +. Little people
with or without experience welcome.
Dark edgy bent original thought provoking cooky bizarre, sublimely
stunning, sublimely grotesque.
Talent Positions: All of the above and Acrobatic cabaret stories,
puppeteers, clowns, Cirque and Performance Artists, Buto performers,
punks who can handle a chain saw, stilt dancers who can throw knives,
aerial acts that can do it from buildings and indoors, long rope
trapeze, slack and tight rope walkers, dancers, tumblers, anything
else. Soloists, groups, scratch dj's, opera singers, spoken word, to
back performances and/or play after party.
If you do not have performance videos or a show I can see you at in
SF, or mp3's, then you must attend a group audition (audition date/s
to be announced). All acts must have ready to go act and costume, 9
minutes in length, but be prepared for adjustments to fit into the
show's overall theme and timing.
Visual Artists and Photographers with large works, min 5 ft high and
light weight durable framed, pref on canvas, include web site with
photos and sizes. Be prepared to transport hang and unhang own work,
possible some works will be moved, flown, and manipulated as part of
show. Rehearsals to be with blanks, artists to collectively help fly
works.
All talent, artist, and crew must be ok with doing rehearsals and
helping with promo, handing out flyers in costume, arranging and
doing radio interviews, and doubling up on jobs during the show. i.e.
Folks who will promo talent and crew are preferred. Rehearsals to be
in SF
Crew Positions: deck, rigging, flying, sound, lights, projections,
pyro, special effects, set drapers, video, web, dvd, hair, makeup,
dressers, foley, av, td's, atd, sm's, asm's, dp with camera, ac's
with cameras, vid and sound mix rec, dir, ad's, pa's. All crew must
be prepared to wear costume, costumes to be practical. Need on deck
pa's who will also be part of the show, be prepared to fly. Riggers
must be licensed and versatile, able to teach. Costume and props/sets
technical creators/designers to assist talent and crew with
manufacturing.
