Lower Polk/Gulch Photo Exhibit and Contest
Space Gallery and Mustache Magazine are pleased to announce the First
Annual Lower Polk Photographix Exhibition and Contest on Wednesday,
August 17, 2005 form 7-10pm at Space Gallery 1141 Polk at Sutter.
The free event is open to anyone wishing to enter. All enteries
should descended on the Lower Polk area of San Francisco and capture
uniquely beautiful and captivating images of life in this emerging area.
Any format is acceptable (ie B&W, color, digital inkjet prints etc)
The finished photographs, sized 8x10 and unframed, can be dropped off
in an envelope at Quetzal Internet Café, 1234 Polk Street, on or
before August 8th.
Please include your name and contact information with the photo!
The images will be on display for the one night only at Space
Gallery, 1141 Polk Street at Sutter. Judges representing different
businesses and community groups within the Lower Polk Area will award
their favorites with prizes and honors.
With permission from the photographers, after the reception, photos
will be displayed at various Polk Street restaurants for the
remainder of the summer.

photograph, attending the reception, or sponsoring the event as a judge.
