Call for Short Films & Videos Made by Youth Ages 25 & Under

The 1st annual ON THE FRONTLINES-Options for Youth in Times of War  
conference, scheduled to take place October 22-23, 2005 at the  
University of California at Berkeley in California, USA, officially  
launched its call for short film and video entries made by youth ages  
25 & under. We are currently accepting narrative, documentary and  
experimental submissions of 30 minutes or less on the following topics:

-U.S. Military perspectives
-Military recruitment issues
-Anti-war organizing and actions
-Stories of veterans & military families
-Experimental, military-related entries

This is an opportunity for young filmmakers nation-wide to show their  
work and deliver their message to a large public audience at a high  
profile conference. All submissions will remain the sole property of  
the artist. There is no entry fee.

Deadline for entry: Monday, October 10, 2005

What to submit:
1) Two copies of your film/video in VHS or DVD format (entries will  
not be returned.)
2) Include a short paragraph description of your piece(s) with total  
running time (TRT).
3) Include your name, complete mailing address, telephone number,  
email address, and web URL if you have one.
4) Your current age and birth date.
5) The date your piece was completed, and your age when you created it.
6) A signed note from you (or if age 17 and under, from your legal  
parent or guardian) allowing us to show your work at the On The  
Frontlines conference.
7) Entries in languages other than English are encouraged, but must  
include English subtitles.
