Cinemasports Orinda Film Fest Saturday, Sept. 24 Cinemasports is the Iron Chef of Filmmaking. Teams have 10 hours to make a movie with a list of ingredients. Screening of finished movies starts on the 11th hour - that very night. Three-time Oscar winner Walter Murch says about Cinemasports, "Something emerges that's not contained in any of the films..." You can participate. Cinemasports Orinda Film Festival happens this Saturday, Sept 24 and we have a few precious spots left for participating teams. Located east of Berkeley, Cinemasports Orinda Film Festival screens at the historic Orinda Theatre. This magnificent 1940's art moderne theatre has been compared to San Francisco's Castro Theatre. Don't miss your chance to make a movie this Saturday and screen it at the Orinda Theatre. Best of all, there is no charge for this event. It's all free. Filmmakers even attend the Meet the Filmmakers party organized by the Orinda Film Festival.
