Berkeley theatre company Naked Masks is casting roles for M/F performers aged 18 and up of all experience levels. This is for a unique scene called The Parade in our production of "Far Away" by Caryl Churchill. There are 9 performances December 1-17 at the Berkeley City Club. All experience levels are encouraged to apply. Participation is volunteer. The scene features a procession of ragged, beaten prisoners wearing enormous and preposterous hats. An open call audition will be held this Saturday, September 23 from 3:30-5:30pm at the Berkeley City Club, 2315 Durant Avenue in Berkeley. No appointment necessary. Please bring a photo of yourself and prep a 1-2 minute text of any type to perform from memory or read aloud.
