does the new terra script have any other ways to interface with an external 
app? I bet this could also be done using a bash script on OSX pretty easily, if 
I remember what I did. I did try back then to do as a java bean, but there were 
so many bugs in the java bean interface and witango. I had also created a 
service that would run, but only on windows, that would listen on a port and 
for running commands also.
