Correct. You have a few options:


Use 127.0.0.1



Edit c:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file and pound out the ::1 entry, 
leaving on 127.0.0.1 as the sole alias for localhost



Turn off IPv6 (if you aren’t using it)

Yes, I was. I see that that makes a big difference. using the computer 
name/server name gives me the full IPv6 format.

On a newer Windows server, <@HTTPAttribute name=Client_IP> returns :::1. I'm 
guessing this is an IPv6/IPv4 issue? Is there any workaround to catch the 
user's IP address? (Terascript Server 6.2.7)
