We now have binary releases of Terra available for OSX 10.10, Linux (Ubuntu 14.04, might work on others), and Windows 8 64-bit:

The release includes the terra executable, and a shared library that can be used to embed terra in your own applications. Hopefully, these releases will make it easier to use Terra as they remove the need for you to download and install the LLVM/Clang/CUDA compiler toolchain, which is the source of the majority of build problems we encounter. Let me know if you try a binary and it doesn't work. There is probably still some issues that will crop up, especially if you are using a version of your OS slightly different from the releases. -- Zach
