Running powertop(1) with the --cpu option results in a DTrace compiler error in
events.c. This is because the scripts that allow the tool to observe a specific
CPU are based on fbt probes that rely on specific function definitions, which
have changed quite a bit in snv.
Along with
7429 cpufreq.c DTrace scripts should be compatible with pre-PAD kernels
we will provide a separate SUNWpowertop package for Solaris 10 which will
address this issue.
