        A quick thought, how about replacing acpi_stubs.c implementation with 
Solaris standard module stub facility?
        By adopting such a change, it can simplify the implemnetation and make 
thing clearer.
        Please take a look at uts/intel/ia32/ml/modstubs.s and 
uts/sparc/ml/modstubs.s.
