If multiple instances of PowerTOP are running on a system and a while-1 thread
is executing, it's been noticed that more than 100% (as high as 160%) is
reported for cross calls:

Top causes for wakeups:
106.0% (1234.7) sched : <cross calls>
 8.6% (100.0) <kernel> : unix`cbe_hres_tick
 8.6% (100.0) <kernel> : genunix`clock
 8.6% (100.0) <kernel> : genunix`cyclic_timer

This was reproduced more than twice on a x4150 with the following CPU type:

  x86 (GenuineIntel 10676 family 6 model 23 step 6 clock 3159 MHz)
        Intel(r) Xeon(r) CPU X5460 @ 3.16GHz
