There wouldn't be much of a reason for cpudrv to be common if there weren't SPARC processors that supported speed change. Then again, maybe there isn't a reason for cpudrv to be common given it's limitations. ;-) FWIW, there is a subset of power manageable UltraSPARC processors (e.g., UltraSPARC-III, UltraSPARC-IIIi, UltraSPARC-IIe). They can be identified by searching for the cpu_change_speed() implementations under usr/src/uts/sun4u/cpu/xxxx. Mark
